After reading both “Being Stalked by Intelligent Design” and “The Lynching of Bill Dembski”, I came to the conclusion that the most believable “theory”, is the latter article on using mathematics to prove intelligent design. Underlying this reason is the fact that anything complex shows thoughtful and careful planning. An analogy that may be over used is one where trash or miscellaneous materials are thrown together haphazardly without any plans, blueprints, or any thought and up comes a man, a watch, and a house. Though all material may have been there that was necessary, there would be no automatic construction. Even a catalyst would have to come from somewhere, even if it was “outside” or extra-terrestrial. Though the concept of micro-evolution can be “proven” through an organism’s ability to “adapt” to it’s environment, this would have no bearing on macro-evolution. The difference between a man and a chimpanzee is the fusion between chromosome 13 and 2 in a man whereas they are still separate in the chimp. Even simple organisms, like that of amoebas and viruses, are complex. Their complexity is like that of bigger organisms but is still shown to be of complex structure, far from being merely “simple”.
As far as being taught in school, the proven points of each should be taken into consideration on the basis of showing what’s definitely known. The “theory” on each should then be discussed openly and objectively, leaving room for an open mind on reason, leaving no room for biased discussion, thinking, or reasoning. For both to be taught in a public setting, reason would have to lead to having both presented. Intelligent Design would be the most likely candidate for being taught as true, since evolution is derived mainly from imagination, and not fact. The main thing being, how the “constructive material” got there in the first place when matter can’t be destroyed or created.
The article: “Being Stalked by Intelligent Design” is greatly biased and doesn’t allow any room for objective reasoning, no matter how substantial it may be. What “The Lynching of Bill Dembski” is showing, was that science was a source of proving or disproving through mathematics the source for belief in a “higher power”. Bill Dembski wasn’t trying to disprove science, but to enhance it with a more objective view. Science is about finding truth, and if actions like what happened to Bill continue, then it would be no different then when the Catholic Church went after Gallileo and the like for proposing what seemed to be “opposing” concepts that the church deemed to go against God. Science isn’t actually against God, but actually proves God.

Microevolution is proven, but not explained, except by intelligent design. To use your analogy of the garbage dump, even if something did construct something complex and functional from the dump, random chaos can not “adapt”. The constructed item would quickly fall into a mess again.
While I agree with the major point(s) of your article, I object to the title. Intelligent Design is not opposed to, nor does it disprove, evolution, micro or macro. A living creature can be both designed and evolved from other creatures.
I agree that mathematics is the most powerful tool for disproving random accident causes of life, although more and more, it is experimentation that is proving ID over Darwinist explanations.
I also agree with you as to what should be taught in schools.

I had choices from essays to videos and I figured blogging can be fun. Can you give me a good free website and a little help on how to get started with what to say, and whether i put it under one day or do it every day until its due. Please help and I promise to select you as the best answer if it helps!.
Blogging is definitely a good way to start, especially in where it helps to back up your opinion with facts and/or to get your thoughts and ideas out. As of right now, I don’t know any free websites apart of wordpress which has been good for me. Google and yahoo are a couple others I can think of off the top of my head in services that provide free blogging sites. One of my sisters uses google blogger to blog about experiences and thoughts. As far as where to begin on what to say, I’d suggest on jotting an idea or two down, research it and see where it leads you. Making a list of any and all questions and/or ideas you have without hold any limits on what kind or how many since it would be the drawing board. Expanding on those ideas one by one thru a little research on each one would help to expand your thoughts on each one, perhaps allowing for some room to change how the idea or question is worded, making it as specific or as general as you’re willing to allow. Let your findings follow the evidence your find for your idea. Blogging thoughts, feelings, and ideas are also good, giving a reference to look back on as well as allowing those who look to leave a comment which may lead you into a different direction completely. Hope this helps. If you have any other questions, I’ll do the best I can to answer.
